Other Ways to Help

Matching Gifts/Workplace Giving

Many Employers match the charitable donations made by their employees. Please check with your employer (and your spouse’s employer) about matching gift funds. The process generally involves a simple application form that you send to us for completion. Matching gifts can double, and sometimes triple, the impact of the donations you make to the Lymphangiomatosis & Gorham’s Disease Alliance. Gifts via payroll deduction are a convenient and time-honored way to make a meaningful contribution that the LGDA receives throughout the year.

United Way

If you contribute to a local United Way campaign through payroll deduction, your local United Way chapter may allow you to direct a portion of your contribution to the Lymphangiomatosis & Gorham’s Disease Alliance. Procedures are different with each campaign, so be sure to check with your company’s United Way coordinator to determine how you can designate the Lymphangiomatosis & Gorham’s Disease Alliance to receive your gift.

Planned Giving

Planned gifts are future donations generally made through estate planning documents such as a will, trust, or charitable gift annuity. The Lymphangiomatosis & Gorham’s Disease Alliance accepts several types of planned gifts, such as bequests of life insurance, retirement plan assets, or other property. If you would like more information on making a bequest of this type in your will, please call us at 561-441-9766 or e-mail us at donate@lgdalliance.org.
