Mitch Maersch is a co-founder and co-chair, along with Scot Wiesner, of the LGDA Golf Outing. He has been a member of the LGDA Board of Directors since 2012. He is the public information coordinator and executive assistant for the School District of Menomonee Falls, near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Specialties include writing, photography, layout, video and media relations. He has 15 years experience in newspapers, and does freelance work and advises a college newspaper. He is a member of the Menomonee Falls Scholarship and Educational Foundation, Menomonee Falls Rotary, Menomonee Falls Optimist Club and the Leadership Menomonee Falls Committee. In his spare time, he likes to play golf (poorly), softball (see also: golf), go camping, seek auction items for charity, attend sporting events and spend time with family and friends. He holds a bachelor’s degree with a focus in creative writing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is a white belt in Lean Six Sigma.
