Lisa Klepper earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1995, graduating with honors from Northwestern State University College of Nursing. She has extensive experience in hospice, infectious disease, and critical care nursing, and nursing administration. Lisa became involved with the LGDA shortly after her youngest child, Brittany Danielle Burford, was diagnosed with diffuse pulmonary lymphangiomatosis in 2007. Brittany passed away in September 2009 and, in the months following, Lisa became more involved with the LGDA, joining the Board of Directors in 2010. She currently serves the organization as Director of Patient Programs and Patient Registry Coordinator. In 2014 she served as co-chair of the planning committee for the Inaugural International LGDA Patient and Family Conference.
