LGDA Awards 5th Founder’s Award
The Board of Directors of the Lymphangiomatosis & Gorham’s Disease Alliance (LGDA) is quite pleased to announce that Judith Margolin, MD, is the 2017-2018 recipient of its special biennial Founder’s Award.
Dr. Margolin is a pediatric hematologist-oncologist in Houston, on staff at Texas Children’s Hospital. She received her medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine Dr. Margolin is Co-Director of the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Vascular Anomalies Program at Texas Children’s. Her clinical interests include: leukemia, lymphoma, vascular anomalies, and hematologic disorders. She is Associate Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Section of Hematology-Oncology, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
The LGDA Founder’s Award is our highest form of recognition to a physician for extraordinary medical professionalism, critical care, treatment and support to children and their families affected by our rare lymphatic disorders of Gorham-Stout disease and generalized lymphatic anomaly (lymphangiomatosis).
On behalf of our worldwide community of patients, we convey their enormous gratitude in naming Dr. Margolin the recipient of the 5th LGDA Founder’s Award.
