1st International Conference on Generalized Lymphatic Anomaly and Gorham-Stout Syndrome

Bethesda 2013

The Lymphatic Malformation Institute (LMI) and the Lymphangiomatosis and Gorham’s Disease Alliance (LGDA) are proud to host the 1st International Conference on Generalized Lymphatic Anomaly and Gorham-Stout Syndrome. The meeting will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Bethesda, MD from June 7-8, 2013.

The conference will be chaired by Dr. Bjorn Olsen (Harvard School of Dental Medicine), and Dr. Mike Dellinger (Research Director, LMI), and will bring together leaders in bone and endothelial cell biology to discuss the latest advances in GLA and GSS basic science and clinical research.  We hope that the meeting will be instrumental in identifying and developing new avenues of research, as well as fostering collaboration among investigators studying these rare diseases of the lymphatic system. A comprehensive review comprised of the proceedings of the meeting will be prepared for publication after the conference.
