My husband was diagnosed with lymphangiomatosis in 2003. He spent 5 1/2 years in remission and has recently had another episode. His form affects his lymphatic system and has resulted in everything from pericarditis to pleural effusions, resulting in the need for surgeries. We are currently fighting pneumonia following a recent surgery and treating him with high protein, low fat, medium triglyceride diet.
This has been a huge struggle for me – to maintain our household, emotionally and physically and tend to my husband and our boys. I'm so glad that I found this site and am looking forward to sharing information with people who have been or are where I am.
