Because lymphangiomatosis and Gorham's disease are so rare, the LGD Alliance has to rely on private donations to fund research. Your gift will help us to provide patients and their family’s much-needed educational information and help to keep them connected with one another through a worldwide patient network. This network will be the vehicle for establishing a patient biobank of blood, serum, and tissue samples which will allow scientific investigators to conduct research to identify effective treatments and ultimately a cure. We are immensely pleased that you have decided to join us in the battle today; every dollar you contribute brings us closer in the race against time to extend or save a life.

You can choose to make a general donation, but also, if you wish, you may designate a gift in memory of someone, or in honor of someone special, or to commemorate a special event in life such as a birth, graduation, bar/bat mitzvah, wedding, birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion.
